Surgital Frozen Rustic Egg Tagliatelle Pasta
Deep frozen, fresh wide long ribbon tagliatelle pasta, as part of Surgital's Laboratorio Tortellini range. These Tagliatelle differ from the norm in that they have a much coarser texture due to traditional production techniques which allows the Pasta to hold more sauce. All Laboratorio Tortellini's expertly deep-frozen pastas are made using durum wheat semolina to ensure the pasta keeps its firmness when cooked. At least 5 barn eggs are used per kilo of flour, to give the dough its vivid yellow colour. Each piece is 30cm long, 1cm wide and, as a nest, weighs 35g. Each pack is 2kg and provides 19 servings.
