Chapel & Swan Fresh D Cut Smoked Salmon

A prime Scottish sustainable salmon fillet cured and smoked by Chapel and Swan at their smokehouse in Exning. This delicious whole side cold smoked salmon is d cut, ready to eat and vacuum packed with a board. Chapel and Swan's artisanial smoking process creates much less oily fillets compared to mass produced versions, ensuring the product has a delicious texture and smoky flavour throughout. Black Forest oak chips and blackened bricks used for smouldering, give the salmon its distinctive flavour. D-cut sides are made from cutting into the salmon in the shape of a 'D'. D-cut slices, therefore, go from the back to the belly of the salmon to ensure the richer brown meats are included. Cold smoked salmon is famously easy to serve on the menu, it is great as a starter or with scrambled eggs as part of a luxury breakfast offering. Each sliced fillet is 1kg and provides around 20 servings.
