Hills Biscuits Digestives
Round deep golden brown baked biscuits with the wording "Sweetmeal Digestive Biscuits" embossed on the biscuit surface. Supposedly, digestives were first developed by two Scottish doctors in 1839 to aid digestion. Nowadays digestives are the UK's number 1 biscuit, enjoyed by millions of people everyday with tea or coffee or as part of a selection of crackers for cheese.
